The Food & Beverage Service Department is another major component of the Hospitality Industry that deals with the service of Food and Beverages to customers.
There are two restaurants in the Institution that coach students
  • Art of Service for Fine Dining Occasions.
  • Art and Practice of Guest Communications.
Students learn about different beverages from around the world and the unique service methodologies involved in Food and Beverage Service for different occasions. Included are the art of flamb é service, French, American, Russian and Silver service. As a general rule members of the Food & Beverage Service department become General Managers and take other leadership positions in hotels. The two classy restaurants of M.G.R.IHMCT help students learn the subtle nuances of Food Services.
